Application
The Cerabar PMP51 digital pressure transmitter, featuring a metal membrane, is ideal for use in both process and hygienic applications, providing precise measurement of pressure, level, volume, or mass in liquids or gases. It is specifically engineered for high-pressure environments, capable of handling pressures up to 400 bar. The device offers a Quick Setup feature with an adjustable measuring range, enabling straightforward commissioning, which helps to minimize costs and save time. It is certified to SIL2 standards according to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
The PMP51 is housed in a single-chamber design, available in either aluminum or stainless steel (316L).
Process Connections: Available in threaded, flanged, or hygienic options.
Process Temperature: Operates within a range of -40 to +130°C (-40 to +266°F), with the capability to handle up to 150°C (302°F) for one hour.
Measuring Range: From -1/0 to +400 bar (-15/0 to +6,000 psi).
Accuracy: ±0.1%, with an enhanced "Platinum" accuracy of ±0.075%.
The device also meets international standards for explosion protection, SIL certification, hygienic approvals, and marine approvals.
