Description

Application 

The Cerabar PMP71 is a digital pressure transmitter featuring a metallic membrane, ideal for various process applications including pressure, level, volume, or mass measurement in both liquids and gases. It is specifically engineered for high-pressure environments, supporting applications up to 700 bar. The device offers a Quick Setup feature, allowing for freely adjustable measuring ranges without requiring specific pressure inputs. It is designed in accordance with IEC 61508 standards, making it suitable for use in SIL2/3 safety systems, and it comes with a MID Parts Certificate, making it appropriate for custody transfer applications.

The transmitter is housed in a robust two-chamber aluminum or 316L stainless steel casing.

Available process connections include thread and flange options.

It operates within a process temperature range of -40 to +125°C (-40 to +257°F).

Measuring ranges span from -1/0 up to 700 bar (-15/0 up to +10,500 psi).

The device offers high accuracy, with a standard of ±0.05%, and a "Platinum" accuracy option of ±0.025%.

It also comes with international explosion protection certifications, WHG overfill prevention, hygienic and marine approvals, and SIL compliance.
