Application of Electromagnetic Flowmeters in Plate Heat Exchange Stations
Centralized heating is one of the main methods of providing heat. The Heat exchange station is one of the main pieces of equipment for this type of heating. There are two types of piping in a heat exchange system:
1. Water supply system
2. Water make-up system
Water flow in both of these pipelines must be measured.
1) Water supply system's flow measurement
Due to the low temperature in the water discharging network and great temperature in the water supply network, the flow meter used is normally set up in the water discharging side.
Due to the site situation of some heat exchange stations, however, the flow meter has to be set up on the water supply side, it needs high-temperature resistance for the flow meter. since the negative pressure will happen when maintenance is done or accidents take place in the water supply pipelines, the flow meter shall additionally have proper negative pressure resistance.
According to the features of the Water supply system, separate electromagnetic flowmeters are suitable for them, whose features are as follows:
MFE600 separate electromagnetic flowmeter:
Its lining material withstands high temperatures (up to 150ÌŠC)
Its lining sensor warrants good negative pressure resistance
Various outputs: 4-20 mA, frequency/pulse outputs, RS485/232 Profibus, GPRS, etc.
Various options of lining materials and electrode
2) Water make-up system's flow measurement
The flowmeter required for the Water make-up system flow is usually used with a make-up pump.
While the water in heat supply pipelines flows less than regular extent, it will be supplied by a make-up pump and the made-up volume might be measured by the flow meter. The make-up pump will prevent work while the water is made up to the volume as needed.
Since the made-up water volume is an exact number, the flow meter used for the make-up system shall undergo great stability and accuracy.
According to the features of the Water make-up system, integrated electromagnetic flowmeters are suitable for them, whose features are as follows:
MFE600 integrated electromagnetic flowmeter:
Various options of lining materials and electrode
Advanced flow calibration device warrants proper stability and accuracy
Various output signals: 4-20 mA, frequency/pulse outputs, RS485/232 Profibus, GPRS, etc.
