Application

The Micropilot FMR57 is designed to meet the highest requirements for bulk solids level measurement, making it ideal for use in high silos, bunkers, and stockpiles. Its parabolic antenna allows for extremely narrow beam angles, enabling precise measurements even in narrow silos. This free-space radar technology provides continuous, non-contact level measurement for materials ranging from fine powders to granular bulk solids. It performs reliably in challenging conditions, such as dusty environments, with no interference from filling noise, temperature gradients, or gas layers.

The sensor offers a choice of horn or parabolic antennas. For applications with heavy dust and buildup, the optional air purge connection ensures uninterrupted operation.
