Application

The Soliphant FTM50 is a durable point level switch designed for use in silos containing fine-grained or powdery solids, even those with low bulk density. It is versatile and certified for use in hazardous areas with dust or gas. The device is available with a polished fork and stainless steel housing with a Tri-Clamp connection, or with an aluminum housing and coated fork. It is a maintenance-free solution ideal for typical applications such as cereals, flour, cocoa, sugar, animal feed, dye powder, and chalk.

• Operating temperature range: -50°C to +280°C (-60°F to +540°F).
• Operating pressure range: -1 to +25 bar (-14.5 to +360 psi).

• Sensor materials: 316L with optional surface finishes (3.2µm, 0.8µm), or coatings (PTFE, ETFE).
