Description

Application

The Prosonic FMU42 Ultrasonic Level Sensor is designed for non-contact level measurement across a variety of media, including liquids, pastes, and coarse bulk materials, as well as for flow measurement in open channels or at weirs. Its versatile two-wire or four-wire configuration makes it suitable for use in storage tanks, with agitators, on stockpiles, and on conveyor belts. The sensor features an on-site display that can visualize the envelope curve for straightforward diagnostics. Additionally, it offers a linearization function (up to 32 points) to convert measured values into units of length, volume, or flow rate.
