Digital Valves for Oxygen Cylinders
Providing Medical oxygen requires a lot of supplies and human resources. At a pressure of 200 bar in oxygen cylinders, each liter of oxygen is equivalent to 200 liters of oxygen at normal air pressure. It takes a lot of manpower to calculate the oxygen remaining in the cylinder. Therefore, the idea of a digital display on oxygen cylinders was proposed.
New sensors have been designed that can meet high purity standards for medical oxygen applications.
Recently, a pressure transmitter has been developed that is very strong with its compact structure and can withstand high oxygen concentrations well.
Valves' Analog sensors measure the oxygen gas pressure of the cylinder and send the resulting data to the electronics behind the display. The patient can access the data through clear symbols. The valves also emit an alarm, for example in times of limited gas flow or low fill level.
This system is more able to supply mobile oxygen and has a self-monitoring mode and saves nurses' time.
There are programs for the IoT (internet of things) process for these sensors. Valve digital information is then integrated via radio into an internal hospital network and provided in a customer-friendly manner.
Nursing personnel can access all digital data from any workstation across the network, eliminating the need to inspect each cylinder on site.
