Description

Overview

The Electromagnetic Heat Flowmeter MFE600H Series is a cutting-edge device designed to deliver precise and reliable measurements for various heating and cooling applications. Engineered with the latest technology, this flowmeter is ideal for central heating systems, air conditioning, and other industrial heat measurement tasks. Its advanced design ensures long-term stability and accuracy, making it a crucial component for monitoring and managing energy flow in both residential and commercial environments.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive Energy Measurement: The MFE600H is equipped with the capability to measure both cold and heat energy, offering versatility in different environments. With standard Pt1000 sensors included, there’s no need for additional totalizers, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
  • Advanced Electronics: The flowmeter utilizes a low-power single-chip microcomputer along with SMD electronic components and surface mount SMT technology. This ensures high precision, reliable performance, low power consumption, and stable zero points.
  • High Accuracy Multi-Electrode Structure: The multi-electrode structure enhances measurement accuracy. Additionally, the device is fitted with a grounding electrode, eliminating the need for a ground ring and reducing overall costs.
  • Instantaneous Response: With no mechanical inertia, the flowmeter can accurately measure instantaneous pulsating flow, offering excellent linearity and sensitivity.
  • Stable Operation: The use of low-frequency rectangular wave excitation improves flow stability, minimizes power loss, and ensures superior performance even at low flow rates.

Working Principle

The MFE600H operates based on Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction. As the conductive liquid flows through the meter, it generates an induced electromotive force proportional to the liquid's velocity, magnetic flux density, and the internal diameter of the flowmeter. This force is detected by electrodes within the device, enabling precise flow measurement.

Installation Guidelines

To ensure the accuracy and longevity of the MFE600H, proper installation is crucial. The flowmeter should be installed in a fully filled pipe, as partial or empty pipes can compromise its functionality. Ideal installation involves:

  • Maintaining a minimum of 5D straight pipe lengths before and 2D after the flowmeter.
  • Avoiding installation near strong electromagnetic fields or vibration sources.
  • Ensuring that any upstream valves are fully open to maintain accurate readings.

Manufacturing Standards

The MFE600H meets rigorous international standards, ensuring reliable performance across various applications. Some of the key standards include:

  • JB/T 9248-2015: Electromagnetic Flowmeter standard.
  • GB/T 17626 series: EMC testing standards.
  • GB/T 9124.1-2019: Steel Pipe Flange standards.

Product Variants and Customization

The MFE600H is available in a range of diameters (DN25 to DN400) and can be customized with different electrode materials, lining materials, and pressure ratings to suit specific application needs. The device also supports multiple output options including 4-20mA DC, pulse/frequency outputs, and RS485/RS232 communication.

Order Guide

When selecting an MFE600H flowmeter, consider the following:

  1. Process Data Collection: Understand the fluid's chemical composition, maximum/minimum flow rates, and operating pressure and temperature.

  2. Conductivity Requirements: Ensure the fluid has a conductivity greater than 5μS/cm.

Pressure and Temperature: Match the device's rated pressure and temperature range to the application's demands.
