The EPM50S series shaft-type multi-turn rotary encoders come with a Ø50 mm housing and an Ø8 mm solid shaft, designed for applications that require precise position detection. These encoders are available in both axial and radial cable configurations, allowing for flexible installation to suit various setups. With a 23-bit total resolution, including 10-bit for single-turn (1,024 divisions) and 13-bit for multi-turn (8,192 revolutions), these encoders provide exceptional accuracy. The EPM50S series supports two output interfaces: Parallel and SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface). These features make it suitable for use in industrial environments, such as machine tools, robotics, textile machinery, and parking systems.
