CE mark

Some sensors follow EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-5-2 standards. So, they comply with both the low-voltage directive 2006/95/EC and the EMC directive 2004/108/EC. They are thus marked with the CE mark.

However, this label is neither an official test label, nor a quality seal certified by the authorities. The manufacturer certifies (on his own responsibility) that the product's protective requirements comply with the relevant EU directives by attaching the CE mark. This implies that the related EU criteria have been met. The CE mark permits unrestricted importation of products into the EU. It also allows unrestricted movement of such products within the EU.
