PRESENSE Head Mount Temperature Transmitter PST 1015
Current Output, Highly Accurate, Programmable with PC
The PST 1015 is designed for universal use in plant and machine building, and also in the process industry. Moreover, it is able to measure and linearize the standard thermocouples with internal cold junction compensation. The transmitter PST 1015 is able to execute many functions such as: measure and linearization of the temperature characteristic of RTDs, and conversion of a linear resistance variation. The measured values are converted in a 4 to 20 mA current signal. The device guarantees high accuracy and performances stability both in time and in temperature.
The PST 1015 can be parameterized very easily, quickly and with a clear overview. The programming of the device is made by a Personal Computer using the software V3.6 and the cable V8. By V3.6 programming assistant, it is possible to configure the transmitter to interface it with the most used sensors.
This head mounted temperature transmitter provides:

Input type
This product can receive different temperature data from several input types:
- Thermocouple
- J type: -100 … +1200°C, min span of 50 K
- K type: -180 … +1372°C, min span of 50 K
- S type: -50 … +1768°C, min span of 500 K
- R type: -180 … +1300°C, min span of 500 K
- B type: +100 … +1820°C, min span of 500 K
- E type: -100 … +1000°C, min span of 50 K
- T type: -200 … +400°C, min span of 50 K
- N type: -180 … +1300°C, min span of 50 K
- RTD (2,3,4 wire)
- PT100: -200 … +850°C, min span of 20 K
- Cu50: -50 … +150°C, min span of 20 K
Output type
The PST 1015 from PRESENSE has one single output type:
- Direct current: 4 … 20 mA (2 wire)
Response time
The time it takes for this transmitter to reach from 10% to 90% of response is about 1 s.
Accuracy
Accuracy of the PRESENSE PST 1015 differs from an input type to another. Of course, it is ≤ ±0.1 %F.S. but the temperature range is not the same.
Temperature & humidity
This temperature transmitter has limitations in operation and storage temperature:

- Storage temperature: -40...+100°C
