Features and Benefits

Suction and Discharge Casings

  • Flange raised face per ANSI/ISO or EN/DIN standards.
  • Product-lubricated silicon carbide sleeve bearing for end-suction pumps.
  • Casing wear rings as standard to enhance durability.
  • Segmental radial section structure for larger inlet/outlet, optimized flow, and reduced noise.
  • Radial fully symmetrical hydraulic design minimizes radial force, improving efficiency and extending rotor life.

Suction and Discharge Flanges

  • MD pumps offer side or top suction/discharge configurations.
  • MDV designs allow for 90° relative positioning of suction and discharge ports.
  • ME series features end suction, with discharge options for side or top mounting.
  • Radial suction and discharge flanges ensure easy maintenance of mechanical seals and bearings.

Impeller

  • Enclosed type with precision investment casting.
  • Dynamically balanced and keyed to the shaft.
  • Superior hydraulic efficiency ensures high energy savings.

Shaft

  • Staggered keyways enhance balance.
  • Robust design ensures minimal deflection even under maximum load, prolonging mechanical seal and bearing life.

Balancing Device

  • Involute balance drum for axial thrust balance.
  • Dual-step surface ensures closer running clearance and efficient performance.

Bearings

  • End suction sleeve bearing supported in the suction casing.
  • Heavy-duty anti-friction bearings housed in larger chambers.
  • Available with oil or grease lubrication.

Mechanical Seal

  • Single or double cartridge seals available.
  • Supports standard seal flush plans with options for modified plans like 11/13.

Installation Options

  • MD: Side suction horizontal installation.
  • ME: End suction horizontal installation.
  • MDV: Side suction vertical installation.

Modular parts reduce inventory, with universalized designs for easier servicing.

Drivers

  • Electric motors
  • Steam turbines
  • Diesel engines
  • Speed-increasing or reducing gears available for enhanced compatibility.

Baseplates and Coupling

  • Rigid steel baseplates reduce vibrations and assure positive alignment.
  • Flexible couplings are available with or w
