Description
Effortless Pressure Measurement: HOF Series Handles Slurries & Particles
Flush Diaphragm, 304 Stainless Steel Wetted Parts, 0.35% FS Accuracy
Tired of clogged pressure transmitters in challenging slurries? The Hogller HOF Series pressure transmitter is engineered to eliminate that frustration. Its innovative flush diaphragm design excels in applications with abrasive media or liquids containing small suspended particles. This design not only prevents clogs but also ensures accurate and reliable pressure measurement, even in harsh environments.
Body
Built to withstand demanding environments, the HOF Series features a rugged, high-strength 304 stainless steel body for all wetted parts. This eliminates concerns about corrosion or degradation from harsh media. Its innovative design also forgoes silicone oil and internal O-rings, relying instead on a reliable FKM seal. For added traceability and quality assurance, each sensor boasts its part number, pressure range, output, power supply details, CE certification marking, and a unique serial number – all conveniently etched onto the body itself.
Pressure Measuring Range
The HOF Series boasts a wide pressure measuring range, handling gauge pressures from 0 to 100 mbar all the way up to 0 to 100 bar. This versatility makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications. Additionally, it offers excellent overpressure tolerance, handling up to 1.5 times the rated pressure depending on the specific range. For further safety, the burst pressure reaches up to 2 times the rated pressure in most cases.
Process Connection
No need to worry about choosing the right process connection for your application. The HOF Series offers two options to ensure compatibility:
- G 1/2" A Male for pressure ranges up to 60 bar,
- G 1" A Male for higher pressure ranges exceeding 60 bar.
This flexibility allows you to seamlessly integrate the HOF Series into your existing setup.
Electrical Connection
The HOF Series comes standard with a reliable DIN EN 175301-803 Form C electrical connection, offering IP65 ingress protection against dust and water jets. We understand that customization might be necessary, and that's why we also offer alternative connection options like DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, M12x1 4-pin, Packard Metri-Pack 3-pin, and even a cable outlet configuration. Let us know your specific needs, and we'll ensure a perfect fit for your application.
Output
The HOF Series outputs a standard 4-20mA or 0-10VDC signal, ensuring seamless integration with most existing data acquisition systems. But we understand your application might have unique needs. That's why we offer a variety of additional output options, including 0-5VDC, 1-5VDC, and even a 0.5-4.5VDC ratiometric signal. Just tell us your requirements, and we'll provide the perfect fit for your data acquisition setup.
Accuracy
In today's world, accurate measurement is paramount. That's why the HOF Series boasts superior accuracy, delivering readings with a total error of less than ±0.35% of full scale. This includes factors like nonlinearity, hysteresis, and repeatability. You can be confident that the HOF Series will provide the precise and reliable data you need for optimal process control.
Temperature
Whether you're facing scorching temperatures or frigid environments, the HOF Series is built to perform. It boasts a wide operating range, handling:
- medium temperatures from -20°C to 100°C, and
- ambient temperatures from -20°C to 80°C.
But that's not all - internally, the sensor offers a compensation temperature range of -20°C to 80°C, ensuring accurate readings even with temperature variations. Plus, the HOF Series can tolerates storage in freezing or scorching conditions, from -20°C to 100°C. This impressive thermal versatility guarantees dependable performance, no matter the environment.
Industries/Applications
Versatile and reliable, the HOF Series thrives in a wide range of industries. From ensuring precision in food and beverage processing to maintaining sterility in the pharmaceutical industry, the HOF Series delivers accurate pressure measurement you can trust. Its rugged design makes it perfect for demanding applications in filling and packaging machinery, water treatment facilities, and even hydrostatic level measurement. And it doesn't stop there - the HOF Series is equally at home in automotive engineering applications. No matter your industry, the HOF Series is ready to become a vital part of your operation.
