Description

Application

The Deltapilot FMB70, equipped with a condensate-resistant Contite measuring cell and a dual-chamber housing, is ideal for both process and hygienic applications. It is specifically designed for level measurement in liquid and paste-like media within open or closed containers, and it operates reliably even in the presence of foam. The built-in HistoROM/M-DAT data module simplifies the management of process and device parameters. This device is designed in compliance with IEC 61508, making it suitable for use in SIL3 safety systems.

It can be utilized for both level and pressure measurement.

  • Process connections: Threads, flanges, and hygienic connections
  • Temperature range: –10 to +100°C (14 to 212°F), with short-term tolerance up to +135°C (275°F) for 30 minutes
  • Measuring range: 0.1 to 10 bar relative (1.5 to 150 psi)
  • Accuracy: ±0.075%

This device comes with international explosion protection certifications, overfill prevention in accordance with WHG, SIL certification, hygienic approvals, and marine certifications.

 

 


 

 

Benefits

The Contite measuring cell is hermetically sealed and resistant to condensate, offering high reference accuracy of ±0.1%, or optionally ±0.075%, with minimal temperature effects due to active temperature compensation. The Deltapilot FMB70 ensures exceptional batch-to-batch repeatability and long-term stability.

Its modular design allows for easy replacement of the display or electronics, while the HistoROM/M-DAT data module ensures secure backup of instrument settings and measured values. The device is functionally monitored from the measuring cell to the electronics and allows for seamless integration into any system (HART/PA/FF).
