Description

Application

The Dosimag flowmeter is specifically engineered for demanding filling and bottling operations involving conductive liquids, particularly in the Food & Beverage and Life Sciences industries. It is ideal for installations where space is a constraint, making it the go-to solution for system integrators, skid builders, and equipment manufacturers. Dosimag provides direct volume measurement, with its bidirectional measuring principle remaining largely unaffected by changes in pressure, density, temperature, or viscosity.

The compact and durable sensor is available in three electronic configurations:

  • Pulse/frequency/status version: Offers a simple, cost-effective solution for basic filling applications.
  • Intelligent pulse version with IO-Link: Enables continuous digital communication, simplifying commissioning and documentation. It also provides real-time access to process data, helping to optimize filling conditions and support predictive maintenance.
  • Integrated batching version with Dynamic Drip Correction: Utilizes Modbus RTU for enhanced control over filling processes.

Benefits

  • Superior filling performance: Delivers high measurement accuracy and repeatability, even in short filling cycles.
  • Real-time digital communication: IO-Link facilitates easier commissioning and ensures continuous access to process data for improved operational control.
  • Space-efficient design: The compact form factor helps optimize the machine footprint.
  • Advanced batching functionality: The flowmeter’s integrated batching capabilities provide effective management of the filling process.
  • Automatic data recovery: Ensures quick servicing and minimal downtime.
  • Global industry compliance: Meets standards such as EHEDG, 3-A, FCM, and cGMP.
  • SIP and CIP cleanable: Designed for efficient cleaning processes, supporting both SIP (Sterilization in Place) and CIP (Clean in Place) systems.
