Application

The Hygienic Radar Level Sensor Micropilot FMR43 is a free-space radar device designed for continuous, non-contact level measurement, part of the Compact Line. Specifically tailored for hygienic applications, it features a compact design while delivering high performance. The sensor guarantees precise measurements even in dynamic or turbulent process environments. Alongside the well-established 80 GHz technology, an additional 180 GHz frequency option is available for use in particularly compact process tanks.

The Micropilot FMR43 is ideal for free-space applications up to 15 meters (49 feet) and includes a 180 GHz sensor option for smaller vessels.

It is suitable for a diverse range of hygienic applications, including:

  • Mixing of viscous and low-conductivity media
  • Filling operations involving viscous substances
  • Storage of low-conductivity liquids
  • Level measurement in tanks with fluctuating media densities
