The Riko proximity sensor PSC1805-NP features Special line-out design for bending resistance and tensile. It will upgrade the sensor’s durability and life. This NPN and PNP proximity sensor comes in a round tubular shape, sensing distance of 2mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of m18 and Shielded (flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Connection
The Riko proximity sensor PSC1805-NP features standard cable type connection with Special line-out design for bending resistance and tensile. This black cable covers the sensor’s 4 wires. It is 2 meters in length, and is made of PVC.
Sensing specifications
This inductive sensor's sensing side diameter is 18 mm. The maximum distance that this sensor can detect its standard sensing target, which is a 18x18x1 mm piece of iron, is 5 mm. This so-called sensing distance differs from one sensing target to another, based on their material, size, etc.
Although almost no one talks about the setting distance of an inductive sensor, it is a big deal to know this concept.
