Description

Application

The iTHERM ModuLine TM131 is an intrinsically safe temperature sensor (available as RTD or TC assembly) designed for use with either a custom-manufactured thermowell or an existing one. It can be equipped with an optional head transmitter that supports all major communication protocols, including Bluetooth® technology. Special features such as the iTHERM QuickNeck for effortless, tool-free recalibration, along with vibration-resistant and rapid-response sensor and thermowell technologies (iTHERM StrongSens, QuickSens), ensure superior measurement accuracy and reliability. The sensor is suitable for a wide range of applications, with a measuring range from –200 to +1,100 °C (–328 to +2,012 °F), pressure resistance up to 100 bar (1,450 psi), and a protection rating of up to IP68. The sensor elements are highly vibration-resistant, enduring up to 60g. The design also enhances maintenance efficiency, allowing for sensor replacement without process interruption and safe, straightforward recalibration of the measurement point.
