Application
The Micropilot FMR60 is the first 80GHz radar developed in compliance with the international functional safety standard IEC 61508. This free-space radar provides maximum reliability through its drip-off antenna, advanced algorithms, and narrow beam angle. It is designed for continuous, non-contact level measurement of liquids, pastes, and slurries. The measurement is unaffected by changes in media, temperature variations, gas blankets, or vapors. Additionally, it features smart sensor functionality with Heartbeat Technology.
The 80GHz drip-off antenna is ideal for free space applications up to 50 meters, providing excellent beam focusing, especially in vessels with numerous internal structures.
