Measuring the Flow of Alcohol Loading
Alcohol is loaded and shipped daily from an alcohol plant. Each crane is equipped with a set of quantitative loading instruments, electrostatic protector, control valve, Coriolis mass flow meter, and other devices. The crane is linked to a truck. The loading instrument communicates with PLC through industrial Ethernet to achieve stable and high-speed data transmission. Due to using a high-accuracy mass flow meter, the settlement of transactions is ensured precisely.
The device is operated 24 hours a day at peak times which needs high long-term stability and durability of the device. Furthermore, the outdoor temperature in winter will be lower than 30°C, which places higher requirements on the adaptability of the working environment of the product.
Special Material Coriolis mass flow meters are designed for this purpose. Some of their features are as follows:
1. Quantitative loading and clients' advantages are linked, so the accuracy is calibrated within 0.1%.
2. Because of the extremely low temperature in winter, its low-temperature displays are adopted to ensure that the meter can display normally below -30 °C outdoor temperature.
3. Alcohol is a flammable and volatile liquid. Hence, the flow meter is strictly under national explosion-proof standards.
4. A 72-hour uninterrupted flow test is executed for the calibration process of the flow meter.
5. Accuracy: ±0.1%
6. Protection: IP67
7. Flow rate: 0-200t/h
8. Pressure: 0-4MPa
9. Display: instantaneous flow + cumulative flow + temperature
10. Output: 4-20mA, 0-10KHz, RS485
11. Temperature: -50-150 ° C
12. Explosion-proof grade: ExdibIICT6Gb
13. Measuring tube: stainless steel 316L
