Application

The Soliwave FDR56 microwave barrier employs a non-contact method for point level detection, making it ideal for installation in containers, conduits, shafts, or free-fall applications. It can measure through non-metallic container walls externally. This makes it an effective point level switch for monitoring and counting a wide variety of bulk materials. The FDR56 operates in tandem with the Soliwave FQR56 emitter.

Commonly detected materials include wood chips, wood dust, flour, plaster, cement, ash, paper and cardboard shreds, gravel, sand, dried powders, bags, and boxes.
