Pressure Measurement Technology for Sewage Purification Systems
Sometimes increasing pressure causes sewage "fountains" to drain out of sewers and contaminate drinking water. Therefore, spillover walls are installed in sewerage systems. If necessary, excess water will flow into the river from the wall. Given the above conditions, it is critical to determine the exact amount and location of wastewater through the emergency system. Recently, a pressure measurement technology has been developed that is required for this purpose. According to this technology, the total volume of the overflow is calculated by a special software using data logger data. (Datalogger is a device that measures the water level).
Precise measurement of the spillover volume
When the sewage overflows, the sewage overflow basins begin to fill, and when the water level reaches the amount of "trigger on", the activity of the pressure sensors intensifies and they record the data once a minute. When the water level exceeds the height of the dividing wall, the flow measurement begins and the data are recorded until the water recedes. If the water reaches less than "trigger off", the pressure sensor returns to normal and records the data once an hour.
In this modern system, there is also software that calculates the flow using data obtained from a pressure sensor. The data is transmitted wirelessly to the computer, a conversion module calculates the volume and flow of water, and an official automated report is issued. Based on these reports, more effective measures can be taken in the future.
