MPM4841A pressure transmitter uses a high-stability, high reliability piezoresistive pressure sensing element and a special conditioning circuit to output a standard current signal. Body
The MPM4841A pressure transmitter is made of stainless steel 316L which provides high resistance against corrosive fluids and thus is compatible with a large variety of medias.
Pressure measurement range, serial number, output, power supply, CE certification, accuracy, date of production and wiring of each sensor is labeled on the body of this product.
Electrical connection
This sensor provides Hirschmann DIN 175301-803 A electrical connection. This type of pressure connection provides ingress protection of IP65, which means that the sensor is protected from total dust ingress and also low-pressure water jets from any direction.
Process connection
At the lower part of the sensor, there is a thread pressure port for connection to the process. The MPM4841A have G1/4” B waterline mechanical connection with EN 837 standard.
To ensure high chemical and thermal resistance and better sealing of the connecting part to the process, a Viton sealing washer (O-ring) is used.
Reference pressure
In this pressure transmitter, gauge (Relative) pressure has been considered as reference pressure. So, the process pressure would be compared to the atmospheric pressure behind the stainless steel 316L internal diaphragm. Pressure range of this sensor is -1…1 bar.
Performance
Response time of this product is less than 3 ms, and its power-on time is less than 20 ms. It also features long-term Stability of ±0.3%FS/ year (max).

This MPM4841A pressure sensor type features 4 to 20 milliamperes output signal, with 2 wires in need.
