Description
Introduction
The Recording Transmitter MPM4710 Series is designed to meet the rigorous demands of various industries such as petrochemical, water management, and city water supply and drainage. This transmitter is powered by a battery and operates without manual control, offering seamless data collection over extended periods.
Features
- Advanced Microprocessing Technique: Ensures better accuracy and resolution for pressure and temperature signals with digital compensation for both linearity and temperature errors.
- Data Security: Equipped with nonvolatile memory units for secure data storage.
- Efficient Power Supply: Utilizes a single 3.6V/2400mAh Lithium cell, consuming low current (≤30uA) in standby mode for long-term data collection.
- Durable Construction: Full stainless steel housing with multi-track O-ring sealing, making battery replacement and data retrieval easy.
- Comprehensive Recording Capabilities: Records pressure, temperature, and timestamps with flexible recording time settings ranging from 1 second to 255 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
- Large Storage Capacity: Capable of storing up to 50,000 recordings.
- RS485 Protocol: Facilitates communication for setting and reading values.
- Factory Setting Restore: Helps reduce costs associated with incorrect settings or maintenance.
- High Stability: Features a hardware watchdog and multi-track software inspection to prevent system halts.
- IP68 Protection: Suitable for long-term submersible applications.
- Wide Temperature Range Accuracy: Maintains high accuracy from -30℃ to 80℃.
Application
Ideal for use in petroleum, chemical industries, power stations, water conservancy, city flood control, and city water supply and drainage. The MPM4710 Series can continuously record level or pressure changes, functioning effectively without manual intervention. Its low power consumption enables a single AA battery to last for several years.
Electrical Connection
The transmitter includes an aviation plug for electrical connection. The pin configuration is as follows:
- Pin 1: RS485A
- Pin 2: RS485B
- Pin 3: GND
Note: Pin 3 connects to the GND of the circuit inside. It generally connects only to RS485A and RS485B. If RS485 communication is significantly disturbed, connect to GND.
Order Guide
When ordering the MPM4710 Recording Transmitter, specify the following:
- Pressure Range: kPa/MPa (e.g., 0 to 600 kPa)
- Output Signal: RS485 interface (Code: R4)
- Other Specifications: Absolute measurement (Code: A)
Example Order: MPM4710 (0 to 600 kPa) R4 A
Notes
- Basic Measurement: The transmitter measures absolute pressure. Ensure it is not connected to power or cables when not in use.
- Atmospheric Influence: For environments with significant atmospheric influence, use a Pressure Recording Instrument alongside the transmitter to account for atmospheric changes.
Application Example
Using the provided software, users can:
- Calibrate the transmitter
- Check battery status
- Set data collection intervals
- Read recorded data
- Obtain temperature data
