Special Remote Transmitters for Measuring Pressure and Temperature in Diamond Deposits
One of the largest diamond deposits in the world is the Grib mine in Russia. Around the mine, 81 wells have been drilled by the Arhangelskgeolrazvedka crew to monitor the water level. The water level monitoring systems of each well include hydrostatic temperature and level sensors and 59 remote transmitters.
When connected to a water level sensor or pressure transmitter, Remote transmitter modules collect up-to-date measurements for pressure and temperature (also optionally for conductivity) and then send the data via email, SMS, or FTP using a mobile network (GPRS).
Remote transmitters designed for this purpose are vigorous, equipped with multiple sensor interfaces, available in a variety of housing types, and can tolerate short immersion periods. Their box can transmit data once a day for several years at sub-freezing temperatures and even with unstable or weak signals. These transmitters specifically save costs.
