Application

The T14 Explosion-proof Pt100 thermometer is engineered for use in rigorous and safety-critical environments, particularly within the Chemical, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors. It is designed to endure harsh conditions, including corrosive substances and extreme pressures, thanks to its durable thermowells and specialized materials. The optional head transmitter, compatible with all standard communication protocols, enhances measurement accuracy and reliability beyond that of traditional wired sensors. The device also offers flexible configuration options.

The T14 sensor, an RTD assembly housed within a thermowell, is specifically designed for challenging environments and explosive areas, meeting FM and CSA approval standards. The sensor features a measurement probe with an insulated RTD element, a sheath, and a thermowell constructed from bar-stock material.

This sensor assembly is suitable for use in various process industries, including:
