Application

The TEC420 Thermocouple Thermometer, known for its modularity and robust design, is versatile and suitable for a wide range of industries. The optional head-mounted transmitter supports multiple communication protocols, offering improved measurement accuracy and reliability over directly wired sensors. Its variety of process connections, dimensions, and materials ensures adaptability across diverse applications.

The TEC420's sheathed thermocouples can measure temperatures ranging from -40°C to 1100°C, depending on the thermocouple type. They are ideal for low-pressure applications where direct contact with the medium or the use of a thermowell is required. They are also suitable for scenarios demanding short immersion lengths. It is important to note that the connection head should not exceed a maximum operating temperature of 80°C when a transmitter is installed.
