The MU series U-shaped magnetic proximity sensors are designed to provide reliable and accurate sensing capabilities with a 30 mm sensing distance. These sensors are available in both cable and cable connector types, offering flexibility in various applications. The MU series can be seamlessly integrated with BUP series photoelectric sensors, making them an ideal choice for the precise position control of elevators.

Environmental and Durability Ratings
The MU series sensors are built to withstand challenging environmental conditions:
- Vibration Resistance: Withstand up to 1.5 mm double amplitude at frequencies between 10 to 55 Hz in all directions (X, Y, Z).
- Shock Resistance: Can endure shocks up to 100 m/s² (approximately 10 G) in all directions (X, Y, Z).
- Temperature Tolerance: Operates effectively between -10 to 65 ℃, and can be stored in conditions ranging from -10 to 70 ℃.
- Humidity Range: Functions reliably within 35 to 85 %RH, both during operation and in storage.
Connection and Materials
The sensors are available with the following connection options:
- Cable Type: Features a Ø 4 mm, 2-wire cable that is 2 meters long, adhering to UL Style 20276, AWG22.
- Cable Connector Type: Comes with a Ø 4 mm, 2-wire cable that is 0.5 meters long, also adhering to UL Style 20276, AWG22.
The sensor body and cover are made of durable polycarbonate (PC, 915R), ensuring longevity and resistance to environmental factors.
