Introduction

The LR725L Ultrasonic Level Meter is designed for measuring both material and liquid levels. It is a non-contact, highly reliable, cost-effective instrument that is easy to install and maintain. This level meter is suitable for industrial applications including water treatment, municipal administration, chemical industry, metallurgy, and machinery manufacturing.

 


 

Measuring Principle

The LR725L operates by measuring the spatial distance DDD of the medium surface, which is proportional to the travel time TTT of the sound wave, using the formula: D=V×T2D = \frac{V \times T}{2}D=2V×T​ where VVV is the speed of sound. The level LLL is determined by: L=H−DL = H - DL=H−D After setting the parameters for an empty and full tank, the electronic unit converts the pulse travel time into the corresponding level value LLL and outputs a 4mA to 20mA DC signal.
