Description

Application

The FDU91 ultrasonic sensor provides continuous, non-contact, and maintenance-free level measurement for liquids, pastes, sludges, and bulk materials, ranging from fine powders to coarse substances. It is also suitable for flow measurements in open channels and measuring weirs. The sensor’s performance is unaffected by dielectric constant, density, or humidity, and the self-cleaning effect prevents buildup. Suitable for use in explosion-hazardous environments, the FDU91 offers a maximum measuring range of up to 10 meters (33 ft) for liquids and 5 meters (16 ft) for solids.

This sensor is ideal for continuous level measurement of fluids and bulk materials in applications such as silos, conveyor belts, stockpiles, and crushers. It is also used for flow measurement in open channels and weirs, particularly where low structural height is required.
