Description

Application

The FDU92 ultrasonic sensor provides continuous, non-contact, and maintenance-free level measurement for a variety of materials, including fluids, pastes, sludges, and from fine powders to coarse bulk solids. It is also suitable for flow measurements in open channels and weirs. Its measurement accuracy is unaffected by dielectric constant, density, or humidity, and its self-cleaning feature minimizes the effects of material build-up. Additionally, the sensor is designed for use in explosion-hazardous environments. It supports a maximum measuring range of up to 20m (65ft) for liquids and 10m (33ft) for solids.

This sensor is ideal for continuous, non-contact level monitoring in applications such as silos, conveyor belts, stockpiles, and crushers. It is particularly effective in locations with low structural height and can also be used for flow monitoring in open channels and weirs.
