Description
Application
The FDU93 ultrasonic sensor provides continuous, non-contact, and maintenance-free level measurement for liquids, pastes, sludges, and materials ranging from fine powders to coarse bulk solids. It is also suitable for flow measurement in open channels and weirs. The measurement remains unaffected by factors such as dielectric constant, density, or humidity, and the sensor’s self-cleaning effect prevents build-up. Additionally, it is designed for use in explosion-hazardous areas. The maximum measurement range extends up to 25 meters (85 feet) for liquids and 15 meters (50 feet) for solids.
This sensor is ideal for continuous, non-contact level measurement in fluids and bulk materials in various environments like silos, conveyors, stockpiles, and crushers. It also supports flow measurement in open channels and at weirs, particularly in situations where structural height is limited.
