Description

Application

The Prosonic FDU95 ultrasonic sensor provides continuous, non-contact, and maintenance-free level measurement for a range of materials, from fine powders to coarse bulk solids. Its performance is not influenced by the dielectric constant, density, or humidity of the material, and its self-cleaning feature prevents build-up. It is suitable for use in explosion-hazardous environments with a maximum measuring range of 45 meters (148 feet) for solids.

Ideal for measuring levels in silos, conveyors, stockpiles, and crushers, particularly in areas with low structural heights.

  • Temperature range: -40 to +80°C or up to +150°C (-40 to +176°F or +302°F)
  • Pressure range: +0.7 to +1.5 bar (+10 to +22 psi)
  • Maximum measuring range for solids: 45 meters (148 feet)
  • Blocking distance: 0.7 meters at 80°C (2.3 feet), 0.9 meters at 150°C (2.9 feet)
