The Contrinex proximity sensor DW-AS-623-M8 features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Contrinex. This PNP proximity switch comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 2mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of M8, and shield (flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Body

This Contrinex proximity sensor's case and nut parts are made of Stainless-steel V2A and its sensing side is made of PA12.

Connection

The Contrinex proximity switch DW-AS-623-M8 features a potted connector S12 connection. It is a 4-pin M12 electrical connection.

Sensing specifications

This inductive sensor's sensing side diameter is 8 mm. This sensor's maximum distance to detect its standard sensing target, which is a 8x8x1 mm piece of iron, is 2 mm.
